Thames Skills Academy: Finalists for the Maritime UK Awards 2025

We are delighted to share that we have been named as a finalist at the Maritime UK Awards 2025 for the Future Skills Award, sponsored by Trinity House.

Katherine Riggs, CEO, Thames Skills Academy said: 

“Being named a finalist for the Future Skills Award for the Thames CPD – the only port-wide continuing professional development programme in the UK – is an honour.  It underpins the commitment of the maritime industry of continually raising standards and providing for a professional work force to meet the future skills needs of the sector”.

This is the second year in a row that the Thames Skills Academy has been a finalist at the Maritime UK Awards.  This inspires all of us at the Thames Skills Academy to continue to strive to raise safety standards and skills on the Thames and in the inland waterways sector.

We look forward to celebrating the achievements of the Maritime Industry with colleagues from across the industry at the Port of Dover on Thursday, 26th June.
