Tidal Thames Water Safety Forum has launched the Riverside Community Water Safety Guide to provide advice on enjoying the river safely for all those living or working  near the river.

This booklet is aimed at residents living close to the tidal Thames and includes effective tips that are easy to remember. What to do in an emergency, along with practical steps to help everyone enjoy the river safely, endorsing the national #RespectTheWater campaign.

It also offers an answer to the question "What to do if you see someone needing help in the Thames?" Spoiler alert - don't jump in!

The members of the Thames Water Safety Forum are:
City of London Police, City of London Corporation, HM Coastguard, London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police, RNLI, PLA, and Transport for London.
