Thames CPD

Developing skills for today and the future

The Thames Skills Academy, Port of London Authority and Company of Lightermen & Watermen have introduced the first Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme for all Thames workers who hold a Boat Master’s licence, whether newly qualified or with years of experience.  The TSA is proud to be the administrator of the Thames CPD programme.

What is the Thames CPD

The programme is free to join and open to everyone working on the Thames.

Participants are required to achieve a minimum of 150 points across the three categories of Mandatory Courses; Accredited Training; and Skills & Experience with a five year period.

Join the Thames CPD Programme by filling out the form on the Join Now page. Once registered you will log your training and development, which should be maintained along with supportive documents to evidence your CPD, which you submit to the CPD team every time you complete training activity.
