Showcasing #CareersOnTheThames at the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships 2023

The Thames Skills Academy exhibited at the London Youth Rowing’s National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships (NJIRC) on 3rd March 2023 at the Copper Box Arena on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
With an audience of 2,800 young people aged 11 – 18, we enjoyed talking about opportunities for Careers On The Thames (#COTT) including Boatmaster and Maritime Engineering apprenticeship. With a quiz to learn about water safety and a competition to throw the line on the cleat, our stand was packed all day with the future generation on the Thames.
