Safer Thames on World Drowning Prevention Day 25th July 2022

As featured in Tidal Thames News on 11th July 2022, the TSA and Samaritans are working together to provide training on how to intervene if you spot someone close to the Thames with suicidal thoughts. 

This half-day course is bespoke to the Thames, thanks to the contributions of TSA Members and the Tidal Thames Water Safety Forum.

The training is to provide everyone who lives or works by the Thames with the skills to spot the signs of suicidal behaviour and have the confidence to talk to someone who is considering a suicide attempt close to the river.
