Join us for the next "Women on the Water" networking event on 21st April 2021.

Meet our keynote speaker Julie Thornton, HR Director at Tideway who will be talking about “Paving the way for a more Inclusive and Diverse Industry - The Tideway Legacy”.
Julie’s talk will be followed by a site visit to the Tideway project.

Julie joined Tideway in October 2013. Her corporate career started over 25 years ago with IBM where she was Head of HR for Global Services in the UK before moving to Citibank Private Bank where she was VP HR EMEA in Geneva and London.

Julie is using her multidiscipline and multicultural experience in complex and regulated organisations at Tideway, a company and project that thinks differently about how construction companies should be. She has introduced the first Returners Programme outside of banking in the UK.

She is working with a creative, innovative and inclusive team that has succeeded in being in The Times Top 50 places for women to work and whose CEO was a finalist for the Gender Champion Award
and a HSW Director who has been recognised as a Top 10 Corporate Ally in the British LGBT Awards.

A Virtual Site Visit to Blackfriars will follow Julie's talk.

Get a preview on Tideway's Blackfriars Bridge Foreshore site page and learn more about the River Environment initiative.

This networking event is open to all ladies in an operational role on the Thames.
