Thames CPD Programme briefing meetings for all River Thames Companies

The Port of London Authority, Thames Skills Academy and Company of Watermen & Lightermen have introduced the first Port-wide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme for all Masters in command of an Intra-port Commercial Vessel.  The prime objective is to improve safety on the Thames.  The Thames CPD Programme is currently voluntary; from 1st January 2024 it will become mandatory and will be regulated through the PLA General Directions.

The PLA, TSA and CWL are hosting a series of briefing meetings on the Thames CPD Programme for Companies who have Masters operating on the River Thames.  These are suitable for HR Managers and Training Managers.

The meetings take place at Watermen's Hall, 16 - 18 St-Mary-at-Hill, London, EC3R 8EF.  The next meetings are on:

Friday 23rd June: 10:00 – 11:30 and 13.30 – 15:00

Places are limited to 15 for each session and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
